This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to register the petitioner's complaint dated 30.08.2013, investigate the same and file final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Though the complaint dated 30.08.2013 was addressed to the District Collector, Puducherry, it appears that the District Collector has forwarded the same to the jurisdiction police, who have conducted the enquiry and found that the transaction is purely civil in nature and closed the same.

4. Recording the same, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner, to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
