This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 20.01.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.1193 of 2023 to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, in which, one surety must be a blood surety for a like sum.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was earlier granted bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No1193 of 2023 on 20.01.2023 with a condition the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, in which, one surety must be a blood surety for a like sum. He would submit that the blood relatives of the petitioner are residing at Tripura and it is very difficult for them to travel from Tripura to Chennai and thereby, the petitioner was unable to furnish the sureties before this Court and thereby, he seeks for modification of the condition.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

out of which, one surety must be a blood or any other relative of the petitioner, each for a like sum. The other conditions shall remain intact. 4.With the above directions, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
