This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the complainant to direct the respondents to take further action on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.01.2020.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint dated 07.01.2020, preliminary enquiry has been conducted and on 12.02.2020, an F.I.R has been registered in Crime No.83 of 2020 under sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 506(ii) of I.P.C and section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act,2002.
