..Respondents PRAYER:

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in proceedings Ref. Ni 2/878/99 dated 15.12.2010 read with Errata dated 16.10.2010 passed by the 4th respondent and quashed orders passed therein and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to retire from service with effect from 25.06.1996, the date of his superannuation with all concomitant benefits.

For Petitioner : M/s.W.M.Abdul Majeed For Respondents : Mr.A.Zahir Hussain Government Advocate for R 1 to 5.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed to quash the proceedings Ref. Ni 2/878/99 dated 15.12.2010 read with Errata dated 16.10.2010 passed by the 4th respondent and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to retire from service with effect from 25.06.1996, the date of his superannuation with all concomitant benefits.

2. On 06.08.2012 itself it was represented that the writ petitioner has died and sought time to implead the legal heirs on record. Again and again, on the same request, the matter has been adjourned several times. Till today, no steps have been taken to implead the legal heirs of the deceased writ petitioner, on record.

3. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
