ORDER

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has placed before this Court the instructions received by the Government Pleader's Office from the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicines, informing the Government Pleader's Office that the order, 1/4

which is the subject matter of this contempt petition has been complied with by passing a final order.

2.This Court in its order dated 20.12.2022 passed in W.P. No.34002 of 2022, which is the subject matter of this contempt petition has directed the second respondent in the said writ petition to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2022 seeking for disbursement of service benefits and monetary benefits in his favour within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of that order. 3.Since the representation of the petitioner has been considered, final orders have been passed and monetary benefits have been disbursed to the petitioner though the petitioner may dispute the quantum for which the petitioner is entitled to, this Court will have to close this contempt petition. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final order, the only remedy available for the petitioner is to file an appropriate application in the manner known to the petitioner under law.

4.For the foregoing reasons, nothing survives for further adjudication in this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
