ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 29.08.2020 for the offence under Sections 376(2)(m), 376(2)(I), 506(ii) of IPC in Cr.No.10 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2.It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner had raped a mentally challenged woman.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that trial is under progress.
5.Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner and the fact that if bail is granted to the petitioner, it will affect the trial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
