ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3; Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned counsel for respondent No.4; Mr.V.Prakash Babu, learned counsel for respondents 5 and 8; and, Mr.P.Paramasiva Doss, learned counsel for respondent No.6.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondents 5 to 8 have encroached on Survey No.41/1 situated at T. Mottur Madura, T. Vellore Village, Thandarampattu Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District.

3. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions from the Tahsildar, Thandrampattu, submits that one Kannan, son of Kariya Konder and others have filed applications for issuance of patta. The said proceedings would be decided within one month. In case the applications for issuance of patta are rejected, further steps would be

undertaken to remove the encroachments immediately.

4. In view of the said statement made by learned State Government Pleader, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.8311 of 2019 is closed.
