The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petitioner has an alternative remedy before the Appellate Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes III, Chennai.

2. In view of the same, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file a statutory appeal before the Appellate Deputy Commissioner of Commercial Taxes III, Chennai within thirty days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
