ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to hear and dispose the Revision Petition in R.P.No.338 of 2019 filed under Section 21 of Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments Act 1959, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 & 2, and Ms.R.Charulatha, learned counsel appearing for the 4th respondent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner extensively referred various proceedings and submitted that the petitioner along with N.S.Venkatachari, V.Aravamudhan and V.Srinivasan filed Revision Petition in R.P.No.338 of 2019 challenging the order of the 2nd respondent dated 24.09.2019. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Revision Petition was adjourned to various dates without any adjudication and due to the delay in disposing the Revision Petition, the mismanagement of the Temple is continuing.

4. Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that enquiry is proposed to be conducted on 16.03.2022 and the Revision Petition will be disposed within the time limit fixed by this Court.

5. Considering the averments in the affidavit and the above submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the Revision Petition in R.P.No.338 of 2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
