ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce the petitioner's wife by name Nithya, D/o.Murugesan, aged about 29 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent, before this Court and to set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Nithya is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
in the illegal custody of the third respondent and requires to be released.
3. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Aliyar Police Station Crime No.114 of 2019 for woman missing has been registered and the investigation is in progress.
4. Recording the same, the habeas corpus petition stands closed with the direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Valparai Sub-Division, to monitor the investigation in Aliyar Police Station Crime No.114 of 2019 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when the detenue is secured, she may be produced before the Judicial Magistrate I, Pollachi, under intimation to the petitioner.
