ORDER
Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent.
2. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2021 seeking for extension of time for submitting the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in Combined Kancheepuram District by 15 days from 12.02.2021.
4. The petitioner has given a representation on 08.02.2021 to the respondent requesting them to extend the last date for submitting the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in
Combined Kancheepuram District by 15 days from 12.02.2021 on the ground that there was difficulty in getting the Solvency Certificate due to heavy work at the concerned Government Department. Since the representation dated 08.02.2021 has not been considered, the petitioner has approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
5. Heard Mr.N.Poovanalingam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.M.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

No positive direction can be issued by this Court with regard to the petitioner's request seeking for extension of time for submitting the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in Combined Kancheepuram District by 15 days from 12.02.2021. It is for the respondent to consider the said request of the petitioner. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2021 requesting for extending the last date for submission of the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in Combined Kancheepuram District by another period of 15 days from 12.02.2021 is considered on merits and in accordance with law. The petitioner's case is that due to difficulty in getting the Solvency Certificate, the petitioner was unable to submit the application on time. All these factors will have to be considered by the respondent, while considering the petitioner's application seeking for extension of last date for submission of the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in Combined Kancheepuram District by another period of 15 days from 12.02.2021.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.02.2021 requesting the respondent to extend the last date for submitting the application for the post of Stamp Vendors in Combined Kancheepuram District by another period of 15 days from 12.02.2021 and pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
