Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for the detention order of the petitioner's son Thiyagu @ Thiyagarajan, aged about 30 years, son of Joseph, presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal in BCDFGISSV No.1790/2014 dated 12.11.2014 passed by the first respondent under T.N.Act 14/1982, set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.TAMILVANAN, J.) The petitioner, who is the mother of the detenu - Thiyagu @ Thiyagarajan, S/o.Joseph, aged about 30 years, has come forward with this petition challenging the detention order passed by the first respondent dated 12.11.2014 against the detenu branding him as a "Goonda" under the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Dangerous Activities of Bootleggers, Drug Offenders, Forest Offenders, Goondas, Immoral Traffic Offenders, Sand Offenders, Slum Grabbers and Video Pirates Act, 1982.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the first respondent as against the detenu dated 12.11.2014 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. [Rt] No.200, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department dated 09.01.2015 and he has also produced a copy of the said order. 3.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as the same has become infructuous.
