This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent to consider the representation dated 02.11.2023 seeking disbursal of 1/6th share from the death cum retirement benefits of the petitioner's deceased elder brother A.Jayakumar.
2. The petitioner's elder brother A.Jayakumar died in harness on 12.10.2023 while he was working as Senior Technician under the respondent. He was Bachelor and died intestate leaving behind the petitioner and others as his legal heirs. Now, the petitioner is claiming 1/6th share from the death cum retirement benefits of the deceased elder brother on the ground that he is a Class-II Legal heir and entitled to get back the income of the deceased and entitled to 1/6th share of elder brother's death cum retirement benefits unless the petitioner is declared to get 1/6th share. 2/4
3. Therefore, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered. This writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
