Respondents Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to pay the gratuity, general provident fund, encashment of earned leave and encashment of 6 months leave for which the petitioner is legally entitled based on the Rule 60(1)(b) read with Rule 9(4) of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 on the basis of the his representation dated 28.10.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents herein to pay the gratuity, general provident fund, encashment of earned leave and encashment of 6 months leave for which the petitioner is legally entitled based on the Rule 60(1)(b) read with Rule 9(4) of the Tamil Nadu Pension Rules, 1978 on the basis of the his representation dated 28.10.2023 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2023 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
