ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to correct the patta standing in the name of the petitioner by disclosing the correct old survey number.

2. According to the petitioner, in the patta issued to the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, the old survey number has been wrongly mentioned in the revenue records. The petitioner seeks for correction of the same through his representation dated 28.10.2025 sent to the first respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2025, seeking for correction of his patta by

correcting the patta by disclosing the correct old survey number of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner.
