These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to forbear the respondents from insisting the petitioner and the petitioner's customers either to obtain transport permits or to get mentioning of the final place of destination in the bills issued by the Public Works Department to transport the processed/filtered sand from the stockyard of the petitioners'
land.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that since the sand quarry was already taken over by the Government, nothing survives for adjudication in these Writ Petitions. Hence, he prayed to dismiss these Writ Petitions.
3. As nothing survives for adjudication in these Writ Petitions and also recording the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
