Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue direction towards the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to give police protection to the petitioner and his family.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to issue direction towards the 1st and 2nd respondents herein to give police protection to the petitioner and his family.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit on behalf of one, Annadurai working as Poosari of Sri Ottadi Periyasamy Kovil, the petitioner being an advocate filed a suit against the third respondent, who was creating disturbance to the employment of Poosari and in its recruitment in the said temple, and contested. In this regard in order to make the petitioner to withdraw the suit, the third respondent approached his father and gave money for the same, but when all the efforts directly or indirectly went in vain, the third respondent along with others directly threatened the petitioner at his home. In this regard the petitioner submitted representation to the first and second respondents on 28.01.2019, which is still pending. Hence the petitioner has filed this petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first and second respondents are proceeding the representation dated 28.01.2019 and is yet to be completed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first and second respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.01.2019 and pass orders on merits in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
