Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to depute the surveyor to survey the land bearing Old survey No.162/3 and as per Patta New S.No.162/7 measuring an extent of 1225 Sq.ft. of land out of 1 Ground and 1321 Sq.ft., by fixing the boundary stones and consequently issue the Sub Division Patta Transfer to the petitioner's property situated at residential house bearing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Door No.24/1 in Plot No.24 as per Corporation Assessment No.638, Old Zone No.65 and New Zone No.10, Old Division No.65, New Division No.127, situated at Koyambedu Village, Paimash Nos.569 570 & 577.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, it would suffice if a direction is given to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2014, within a time frame

5. Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders in accordance with law, within a time frame.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
