This Writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the Advocate Commissioner in order to enable the Advocate Commissioner to take physical possession of the Secured Asset, pursuant to the order passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvallur, in Crl MP No.1955 of 2023 dated 09.10.2023.

When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the representation made by the petitioner will be acted upon and police protection will be granted to the Advocate Commissioner in order to take physical possession of the secured asset as directed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvallur.

In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide necessary police protection and the entire process shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
