Application Nos.1571, 1572 & 1573 of 2021 in O.P.No.258 of 2013 V.PARTHIBAN.,J.

The application in A.No.1571 of 2021 has been filed to declare Mr.K.Mohammed Aadil as major on account of attaining the age of majority and the application in A.No.1572 of 2021 has been filed to withdraw from the Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Chennai - 600 104 the sum of Rs.39,00,000/- with the interest accrued thereon under F.D.Receipt No.0432369 and application in A.No.1573 of 2021 has been filed to discharge the first petitioner from the guardianship of Mr.K.Mohammed Aadil.

2.Learned counsel for the applicant submits that Mr.M.Mohammed Addil, born on 14.05.2002, has attained majority and in support of the same, he has filed a copy of the Birth Certificate of Mr.M.Mohammed Aadil.

3.In view of the above, the application in A.No.1571 of 2021 is allowed and the applicant - Mr.M.Mohammed Aadil is declared as major. Consequently, the Application in A.No.1573 of 2021 is allowed and the applicant is discharged from the guardianship. V.PARTHIBAN, J.

mrm 4.By order dated 19.11.2013, a sum of Rs.39,00,000/- was ordered to be deposited to the credit of Original Petition. Since Mr.M.Mohammed Aadil was a minor at that time, his share was ordered to be invested in fixed deposit in the Indian Bank, High Court Branch, Chennai. Since Mr.M.Mohammed Aadil has attained majority, he is permitted to withdraw the amount of Rs.39,00,000/- with interest accrued. Therefore, the application in A.No.1572 of 2021 is also allowed.
