2.

The Petitioner who is working as Assistant Teacher at Perambalur Panchayat Union Elementary School at K.Eraiyur has filed this Writ Petition for directing that the entry made relating to her absence on 17.02.2010 in the Attendance Register of the said school has to be corrected as 'restricted holiday' instead of 'casual leave' on that date.

3.

In the Counter-affidavit filed by the Respondent, it has been stated as follows:- "7.

As far as the petitioner request to correct the entry in the attendance register related to 17-02-2010 as Religious Leave, it is submitted that from the report received from the incharge Headmaster, it is beyond doubt proved that the petitioner had applied for C.L. Since some other teachers had availed R.L. On that date, the incharge Headmaster had in-inadvertently marked R.L. in the attendance register and later this entry was corrected as C.L. by the 6th respondent. The 6th respondent is not competent to correct the entry in the attendance register. All this affairs had arisen because of indifference attitude of the petitioner on the 5th and 6th respondents.

The 3rd respondent had caused inspection to the institution soon of the receipt of the petition of 19-02-2010 from the petitioner, convened a staff meeting and advised them to ensure smooth functioning of the school forgetting there past bitter experiences. Under the circumstances stated above, it is prayed that this honorable Court may be pleased to dismiss the Writ Petition as null and void and pass further Orders as the court may deem fit and thus render justice."

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is satisfied with the recording of the aforesaid explanation offered by the Respondent and that no further orders are required in this Writ Petition.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
