ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying to direct the respondents to register the complaint of the petitioner, dated 20.03.2014.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is averred in the petition that the petitioner / complainant, Sivakumar was threatened by his wife and in-laws with dire consequences and hence, he lodged a complaint with the respondents police on 20.03.2014. Since no action has been taken by the respondents police, the present Original Petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate submits that due to pendency of dispute between the spouses before the Family Court, no action was taken on the complaint of the petitioner, dated 20.03.2014.

5. In the above circumstances, the fourth respondent police is directed to peruse the contents of the complaint of the petitioner, dated 20.03.2014 and if any cognizable offence is made out, further directed to register the case and proceed further as per law.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
