O R D E R

The petitioner who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.11.2025, for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 4(1)(c), r/w 4(1-A)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act, 1973, in Crime No.185 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.

The earlier criminal original petition in Crl.O.P.No.34069 of 2025 seeking bail has been dismissed by this Court by an order dated 12.12.2025 on the following reasons:

"5.Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, and taking note of the fact that there are 53 previous cases, pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner." 3.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent and has not committed any offence alleged and hence, seeks bail. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the anticipatory bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner was found with illegal possession of 28 golden liquor bottles and 16 beer bottles without any proper license and still the case is under investigation and the 2/4

petitioner is having 53 previous cases.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case, gravity of offence, the fact that there is no change in the circumstances, this Court is not inclined to revisit the earlier order.

Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. 06.02.2026 ssa 3/4
