JUDGMENT

1. This is an appeal filed against the impugned judgment and order, dated 24.11.2017, passed by the learned Single Judge in W.M.P.No.32748 of 2017 in W.P.No.30142 of 2017. 1.1.By virtue of this application, the appellant, who is the original writ petitioner, had sought, in effect, a stay on the holding of Karthigai Maha Deepam Festival on 02.12.2017, at 7th Hills Velliangiri Suyambu Andavar, Poondi, Pozhuvampatti Village, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore District.
2. Obviously, the festival has already been held. Therefore, this appeal has been rendered infructuous.
3. The appeal is, accordingly, dismissed. Consequently, the connected pending application shall stand closed. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
