O R D E R

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case registered in Crime No.Not Known of 2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 294, 381 and 506 (i)of IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that a case was registered in Crime NO.41 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police. The allegation is that the petitioner along with the other accused distorted the attention of the cashier of MedPlus pharmacy and took away a sum of Rs.3,500/- from the cash box.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent of the offence alleged and he has been falsely implicated in the case. The petitioner had been released on bail in the other case. The learned counsel would further submit that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would strongly oppose the petition. According to him, the petitioner has one more case of similar nature to his credit.

5. Considering the nature of the offence and also the alleged involvement of the petitioner in another case of similar nature, this court is of the considered view that it is not a fit case for the grant of anticipatory bail as there is every possibility of repeating the offence by the petitioner, if he is released on bail. Thus, the Criminal Original Petition deserves only to be dismissed and the same is dismissed accordingly.
