ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to expeditiously transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner, survey and measure the land in the survey No.372/1A1A1A situated at Thiruvallur District, Avadi Taluk, Vellanur Village.
2. In respect of the land at S.No.372/1A1A1A at Vellanur Village, Avadi Taluk, Thiruvallur District, the petitioner wanted to survey the land and to issue sub-division patta and in this regard the petitioner had given an application in the year 2017, 2018 as well as on 14.02.2020 and he has claimed to have paid the necessary fee to the Revenue Department for surveying the land, despite that, since no action has been taken, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.D.Aravind Raj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent would consider the said application of the petitioner and if the fee as claimed by the petitioner has already been paid, the application would be acted upon and the needful would be undertaken by the respondents by completing the survey within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and having regard to the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.02.2020 and do the needful by completing the survey of the land in question within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
