O R D E R
The Counter affidavit filed by the 2nd Respondent / Block development Officer, Morappur, states that based on the guidelines issued by the Tamil Nadu Government in G.O.Ms.No.84, Rural Development Department dated 05.05.1998, wherein it is specified that Rs.7,000/- can be spent on repairing an electric motor and pursuant to the letter issued by the 2nd respondent, the petitioner was paid the entire amount. Two cheques were issued in the name of the petitioner; one cheque bearing No. 416082 dated 30.09.2005 for Rs. 10,000/- and another cheque bearing No.416083 dated 30.09.2005 for Rs.1968/- As such the total amount of Rs.11968/- has been paid to the writ petitioner. The writ petitioner has also acknowledged receipt of the payment by his letter dated 25.09.2007 and has endorsed that no further amounts is due from the respondents.
2. This being the factum, the cause aroused for filing the present writ petition did not exists. The grievances of the writ petitioner has already been redressed.
3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
