PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the respondent in U.O.Note Ref.No.PU/AS-I/ACA-3/83-EC/2005-06 dated 05.09.2005 relating to Executive Council of the respondent University in Resolution No.2005.104 of the 83rd meeting dated 20.08.2005 and quash the same in so far as it resolves to entrust the work to CPWD and direct the respondent to have the work entrusted by the Engineering Wing of the University .

The writ petition was listed for hearing on 04.01.2019. None appeared for the writ petitioner. Thus, the case was directed to be listed on 07.01.2019 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today i.e., on 07.01.2019, there is no representation on behalf of the writ petitioner. Thus, it is to be construed that the writ petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for non-prosecution. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
