The notice dated 02.07.2013 issued by the District Registrar is under challenge in the present writ petition.
2. In view of the subsequent amendments made under the Act, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance. However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent authority, if any grievance exists as of now.
3. In the present writ petition, the notice dated 27.02.2014 by the District Registrar, Saidapet, Chennai asking the petitioner to appear for an enquiry is under challenge. No writ against such enquiry call is entertainable in a routine manner. Therefore, even on the ground that the writ petition has been filed against the notice, no relief needs to be considered. Further in view
of the amendment made under the Act, the petitioner is at liberty to approach before the competent authority in the manner known to law.
