2.The petitioners filed this writ petition, praying for issuance of mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and promote the petitioners to the post of Wireman/ Commercial Assistant based on their eligibility and qualification with all attendant service benefits including due seniority and monetary benefits.

3.When the matters were taken up today for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that during the pendency of the petitions, the petitioners were promoted as wireman on 16.08.2018, hence nothing survives for further adjudication. Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents has also confirmed that during the pendecy of the writ petitions, the petitioners have been promoted as wireman in the year 2018 itself.

4.Recording the said submissions made by either side, this Court does not find anything survives for further adjudication. Accordingly these two writ petitions are closed. However there shall be no order as to costs.
