ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 15.03.2016 in form PRA with the prescribed fee for the renewal of Autorickshaw permit bearing Registration No.TN-78-Z-9893 and to consider the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent had refused to receive the application of the petitioner for renewal of Autorickshaw permit and therefore, the respondent may be directed to receive the application and consider the same.

3. Mr.A.Zakir Hussain, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent, submitted that the petitioner may be directed to submit the application for renewal before the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent and on submission of the application, the respondent may be directed to consider the same in accordance with law.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the petitioner to submit the application for renewal of Autorickshaw permit within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the said application along with the prescribed fee, the respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
