ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent-police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender indulging in rowdy activities, extortion, etc and therefore, a History Sheeted Rowdy Book was opened against him in H.S.No.39 of 2023. He further submitted that the respondent-police have gone to the petitioner's house to serve the summons in the Section 110 of Cr.P.C. proceeding initiated by the RDO and they have not harassed the petitioner.

3. In response, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that apart from the FIRs in Crime Nos.288 & 309 of 2022, no other case is pending against the petitioner.

4. It is the case of the respondents that they have gone to the house of the petitioner to serve summons and that they have not harassed him. 2/4

5. In view of the above, recording the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this criminal original petition stands closed.
