This petition is filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representations dated 25.11.2022 and 23.12.2022 made by the petitioner herein.
2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that one Jayakrishnan and the petitioner made several complaints against the accused persons who misappropriated a sum of Rs.56,54,343/- which was provided as Pongal gift for all family cardholders. However, the same was not considered. Hence the present petition has been filed.
3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that the said amount was withdrawn by accused persons. He further submitted that the petitioner is the signing authority and without his knowledge the amount would not have been misappropriated by the accused persons and the investigation is almost completed. Hence, he prayed to
dismissal of the present writ petition.
4. Heard learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.
5. Since the investigation in this regard was almost completed and the petitioner being the signing authority and without his knowledge the money would not have been swindled by the accused persons, this Court is not inclined to issue any affirmative direction in favour of the petitioner.
