This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3rd respondent to produce the detenue, by name Bhuvaneshwari, from the illegal custody of the 1st respondent and to produce her before this Court and to set her at liberty.

2. The petitioner is the mother of the detenue. According to her, the detenue was married to one Sam Raj, in the year 2010. A female child was born to them and she was named as Sarulatha and she is now aged about 5 years. It is further stated that the detenue was found missing since 5.3.2015. In this connection, a complaint was given to the respondent-Police on the same day and C.S.R. No.210/2015 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

was also issued. As there is no progress in the matter, the present petition has been filed.

3. Though the matter has not been listed today, at the instance of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the matter has been taken up for hearing. Today, the detenue was produced before the Court by the 3rd respondent-Police. The petitioner, the mother of the detenue, Sam Raj, the husband of the detenue were also present before the Court. On being enquired, the detenue had stated that she had left the matrimonial home, on her own. She had also expressed her willingness to go along with her mother, the petitioner herein. The detenue, being major, is permitted to go as per her wish. It is needless to say that the parties concerned are at liberty to work out their remedies, if any, in the manner known to law.
