Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 25 of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease & Rent) Control Act 1960, against the Judgment and Decree dated 04.04.2017 passed in RCA.No. 104 of 2015 by the IX Small causes Judge, Chennai (Rent Control Appellate Authority) reversing the Fair and Decreetal Order passed by the XI Small Causes Judge, Chennai in R.C.O.P No. 1940 of 2007 dated 23.12.2014 (Rent Control Appellate Authority).

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has vacated and handed over vacant possession to the respondent herein. He has also filed a memo dated 07.08.2017 to that effect, which reads as under:

"MEMO FILED ON BEHALF OF THE PETITIONER "

The above named Revision Petitioner respectfully submits as follows:- The Revision Petitioner has vacated on 04.08.2017 the First Floor on the southern side of the premises bearing No.W-109, New No.18, Third Avenue, Anna Nagar, Chennai 600 040, being the subject matter of the present Civil Revision Petition and handed over vacant possession of the aforesaid premises to the respondent herein. The Revision Petitioner has paid the agreed rent and other dues upto 04.08.2017 to the respondent herein and received proper acknowledgments on 05.08.2017, true copy of which is filed along with this Memo.

Hence it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to record the above facts and dispose of the Civil Revision Petition and thus render justice.

2. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the memo filed, this Civil Revision petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
