Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 2nd respondents from insisting for the payment of life tax in respect of the aforesaid vehicle bearing registering no. KL-07-AH-3456 for the purpose of transfer of ownership and re-registration till the expiry of four months period granted in WP.No.35545 of 2004 etc. dated 25.08.2005.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the writ petition was filed to forbear the 2nd respondents from insisting from the payment of life tax in respect of the aforesaid vehicle bearing registering no. KL07-AH-3456 for the purpose of transfer of ownership and reregistration till the expiry of four months period granted in WP.No.35545 of 2004 dated 25.08.2005.

2. First of all the period of 4 months granted in the earlier writ petition expired long back and further after efflux of time, more specifically 13 years the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition deserves no further consideration. This apart the efforts taken by the learned counsel for the writ petitioner to secure instructions from the writ petitioner also failed. Thus, the writ petition stands closed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
