This writ petition has been filed to issue a Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take action on the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2018 and to stop the illegal and unauthorized functioning of the school for differently abled children by the fifth respondent at Door No.229, 17th Street, Defence Officer's Colony, Ekkattuthangal, Chennai - 600 032.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as the fifth respondent is running a special school unauthorisedly and illegally in the residential area, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 10.01.2018 to the respondents 1 to 4 requesting to take action against him. However, the said representation has not been considered so far. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the respective respondents and perused the materials placed before this Court. 4.Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for herein, this Court directs the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.01.2018, if not already considered, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and as per law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the fifth respondent, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
