This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Paragraph No.7 vide order dated 25.01.2023 passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.30954 of 2022 while granting bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that while allowing the petition, the petitioner is directed to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties (out of which, one should be a blood surety, who should produce document to show his/her means, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tiruttani. He would further submit that the petitioner is an orphan and he is not having any blood relative to furnish surety and he finds it very difficult to comply with the condition. He would further submit that the petitioner's aunt's daughter viz., B.Saraswathi is the only relation and she is his guardian, to that effect the petitioner produced his School Leaving Certificate for the proof of guardianship. Hence, he prays to modify the said condition. 1/3

3. Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed by this Court is modified to the effect that instead of furnishing blood surety, the petitioner shall furnish his relative viz., B.Saraswathi as surety, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tiruttani. All other conditions remain unaltered.

5. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
