The petitioner/A4 has filed Crl.OP.No.2970 of 2024 and the petitioners/A2 and A3 have filed Crl.OP.No.3001 of 2024, both in Cr.No.52 of 2024 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa) and 4(1-A) of TN Prohibition Act seek anticipatory bail .

2. A1 had been arrested and detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. It is stated that all the accused were found in possession of 565 litres of pondy arrack. The are previous against the accused. It is stated that the illicit arrack had been stored for further sale.

3. Taking into consideration the huge quantity of pondy arrack that had been seized and all other factors, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed.
