Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant adequate police protection to the revenue officials to survey and demarcate the subject matter property situated in Plot No.8, S.No.212/10 at SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Mookandapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to grant adequate Police protection to the revenue officials to survey and demarcate the subject property situated in Plot No.8, S.No.212/10 at SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Mookandapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased a vacant plot situated in S.No.212 at Plot No.8, SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Mookandapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, measuring to an extent of 2400 sq ft, through a registered sale deed dated 01.02.2011 from one T.V.Santosh Kumar, to whom the property was alloted by SIPCOT Staff Housing Colony, Hosur. After his purchase, the said plot was sub divided and new sub division number was given as S.No.212/10 and the patta is also mutated in his name as patta no. 7940 by the 4th respondent. The petitioner had submitted an online application along with appropriate fees on 12.11.2021 and 08.12.2021 before the 4th respondent, seeking to measure and earmark the four boundaries and to provide sketch. Pursuant to the application, the respondents 4 to 6 have visited the plot and about to conduct the survey. The 7th petitioner herein, who is the neighbor of the petitioner's property has prevented them from conducting the survey. Hence, the present petition has been filed seeking to give adequate police protection.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that if a date is fixed by the Revenue Officials and it is intimated to the 3rd respondent, the 3rd respondent will give adequate police protection.

Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Writ Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 4 to 6 to fix a date for surveying the land in question situated in S.No.212 at Plot No.8, SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Mookandapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District and intimate the same to the respondents 1 to 3, who in turn to provide adequate Police protection.
