PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the first respondent in Memo BCDFGISSSV No.429/2017 dated 17.07.2017 against the petitioner's son Balaji @ Kedi Balaji, S/o.Chandrasekar, aged about 27 years and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the detenu who has been now detained under Act 14 of 1982 in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

1. The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Balaji @ Kedi Balaji, S/o.Chandrasekar, male, aged about 38 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
years. The detenu stands detained by the first respondent by virtue of his order bearing No.429/BCDFGISSSV/2017, dated 17.07.2017, wherein, he has been held to be a "Goonda", within the meaning of Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. 1.1. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said order of detention, passed by the first respondent against the son of the petitioner has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4372, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 11.09.2017; a copy of the order has also been produced.
3. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, is taken on record. Accordingly, the petition is closed, as the same has been rendered infructuous.
