PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to include Petitioner's name in legal heir certificate of her deceased father namely Arumugam based on Petitioner's representation dated 12.01.2022. For Petitioner : Mr.T.V.G.Kartheeban For Respondents : Mrs.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, Special Government Pleader

O R D E R

Mrs.Geetha Thamaraiselvan, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents.

2.

I am of the view that this Writ Petition is misconceived insofar as the application for issuance of legal heir certificate has itself been filed only on 12.01.2022. It is for the petitioner to allow sufficient time to the respondents to process the application, call for the production of documents, if any, and hear the petitioner. In stead of pursuing the application before the authorities, the petitioner has simply rushed to this Court seeking a mandamus.

3. This Writ Petition is thus dismissed as premature. No costs.
