ORDER

The petitioner gave a representation dated 20.01.2026 to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking to transfer of the investigation pending on the file of the second respondent to the jurisdictional Police Station. Since the said representation has not been considered, this Writ Petition has been filed seeking for the above relief.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the case in Crime No.91 of 2023 pending on the file of the second respondent has been already transferred to the file of the third respondent vide memorandum by the Commissioner of Police in Rc.No.Crime III(1)/83/26278/2023, dated 23.05.2023 and the case has been registered by the Inspector of Police, Maduranthakam Police Station, in Crime No.139 of 2023. 3.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that till date, the investigation has not been completed.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the third respondent Police to complete the investigation and file the final report in Crime No.139 of 2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
