ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents police harassed the petitioner under the guise of enquiry and thereby he seeks direction to the respondents police not to harass the petitioner in the guise of enquiry.

3. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the respondents police would submit that the petitioner was convicted in a case of selling lottery tickets where, three cases are pending on the file of the third respondent and thereby the respondents have summoned the petitioner to the police station. 4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts that regular cases are pending against the petitioner, this petition is not maintainable and the orders cannot be passed. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
