Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to pass orders on the online application No.2022/0105/08/270801 dated 10.02.2022 and transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and subdivide the property situated in at S.No.310/1D (0.39.50 Hec.Are) 98 Cent, Patta No.574, Appamasamudram, Attur, Salem expeditiously.

ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to pass orders on the online application No.2022/0105/08/270801 dated 10.02.2022 and transfer the patta in the name of the petitioner and subdivide the property situated in at S.No.310/1D (0.39.50 Hec.Are) 98 Cent, Patta No.574, Appamasamudram, Attur, Salem expeditiously.
2. In respect of the property situated in Survey No.310/1D at Appamasamudram, Attur, Salem, the petitioner, in order to get sub-division patta transfer, has made an online application on 10.02.2022, followed by a representation dated 13.01.2023. In order to consider the same, seeking direction to the third respondent / Tahsildar, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Ms.S.Nandhini Devi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
4. Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate would submit that, 2/5
the said application-cum-representation given by the petitioner would be considered by the third respondent and the needful would be undertaken within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders:
That there shall be a direction to the third respondent / Tahsildar to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 13.01.2023 and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
