ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel patta No.155 issued in the name of the fifth respondent and thereafter, issue a joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the fifth respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.
2. The petitioner had given a representation to the respondents 1 to 4 on 24.12.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta No.155 standing in the name of the fifth respondent. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.
3. Mr. C. Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Since no adverse orders are passed against the fifth respondent, notice to the fifth respondent is dispensed with by this Court.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent as well as any other third
party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 24.12.2025, seeking for cancellation of patta No.155 standing in the name of the fifth respondent and for issuance of joint patta in the name of the petitioner and the fifth respondent for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire.
