Pursuant to the order passed on 24.4.2015, the Advocate Commissioners visited the place where the respondent resides. At that time, they were informed by the local police that the respondent is mentally disturbed and is living in difficult situations. Therefore, they suggested that the respondent be taken away. Fortunately, the father of the respondent, who lives elsewhere, also came to the scene, upon being informed by the Police.

2. Therefore, the respondent, her father and the child actually appeared before Court though there was no direction to them to appear. Prima facie it appears that the respondent requires an assessment of her mental and physical health. The respondent actually disowned her father claiming that her father was dead. The child appears to be over the age of 6 years and has not gone to school. The petitioner lives in Madras. Therefore, some arrangement has to be made for putting the child into school and for assessing the health condition of the respondent. Hence, the following order is passed as a temporary measure:

(i) the Advocate Commissioners appointed by this Court shall take the respondent to Schizophrenia Research Foundation (SCARF), Anna Nagar West Extension, Chennai 600 101, for assessment of the condition of her

mental health. If the Doctors opine that she needs to be admitted for assessment and/or treatment, she shall be admitted; and (ii) the petitioner shall provide shelter to the respondent's father and the minor child for the present, to sort out issues.

3. Call the matter on 30.4.2015 to enable the Advocate Commissioners to get a report from SCARF and file a report before Court. 27.4.2015.
