O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order of the first respondent made in I.A.No.19 of 2015 in A.G.A.No.1 of 2015 dated 08.06.2015.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent filed G.A.No.247 of 2012 before the Assistant Commissioner of Labour claiming a sum of Rs.86,538/- towards gratuity from the petitioner and the Assistant Commissioner of Labour vide order dated 17.12.2013 directed the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.80,769/- to the second respondent and challenging the same, the petitioner preferred appeal in A.G.A.No.1 of 2015 before the first respondent and in the said appeal the petitioner filed I.A.No.19 of 2015 seeking to receive certain statutory documents, however, vide impugned order the said interlocutory application was dismissed. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that this Court, without going into the merits of the case, may issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal in A.G.A.No.1 of 2015, within a reasonable time frame. 2/4

4.Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent. Though the name of the second respondent is printed in the cause list, there is no representation.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal in A.G.A.No.1 of 2015, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.The writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
