The Deputy Registrar Of Cooperative Societies, Civl Station, Mahe Respondent(s) PRAYER; This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to pay a sum of Rs.3,11,513/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Eleven Thousand Five Hundred and Thirteen only) towards arrears of salary due to the petitioner in pursuance of the order dated 27.11.2024 passed by the authority under the payment of wages Act, 1936 together with interest at the rate of 6 percent per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of actual payment within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble Court

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents to pay a sum of Rs.3,11,513/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Eleven Thousand Five Hundred and Thirteen only) towards arrears of salary due to the petitioner in pursuance of the order dated 27.11.2024 passed by the authority under the payment of wages Act, 1936 together with interest at the rate of 6 percent per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of actual payment within a time frame to be fixed by this Honble Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.06.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
