PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records connected with the orders vide Rc.PC1/4078/2009 and Rc.PC1/4078/2009 dated 23.06.2009 and 28.08.2010 passed by the first respondent and quash the same and further direct the first respondent to regularize the service of the petitioners from the date of appointments as per the Mandatory provisions of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981 duly permitting to draw arrears of salaries and all other allowances from the date of regularization of the petitioners as per the respective Tamil Nadu Revised Scale of Pay Rules.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed for quashing the orders in Rc.PC1/4078/2009 and Rc.PC1/4078/2009 dated 23.06.2009 and 28.08.2010 passed by the first respondent and further directing the first respondent to regularize the service of the petitioners from the date of appointments as per the Mandatory provisions of Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Industrial Establishment (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981 duly permitting to draw arrears of salaries and all other allowances from the date of regularization of the petitioners as per the respective Tamil Nadu Revised Scale of Pay Rules. 2.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate submitted that the matter had been settled between the petitioners and respondents. In pursuance of this settlement, petitioners namely G.Rajendran, M.Vilvanathan, C.Rajendran, B.Palani received a sum of Rs.2,94,063/- each as per the resolution passed by Valaja Uratchi Ondriyam dated 18.07.2012. Uratchi Ondriyam to the learned Government Advocate, Madras High Court, Chennai in Na.Ka.Aa.2/73/2023 dated 11.01.2024 is submitted for the perusal of this Court.
3.From this letter, it is clear that petitioners have received a sum of Rs.2,94,063/- each, in view of the settlement reached between the petitioners and respondents.
4.In such circumstances, this Court finds that nothing survives in this Writ Petition and therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as settled out of Court. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs.
